Today was a great day! God allowed the rain to hold off and allowed us to reach many of our goals for our work! Mrs. Carlene got a fresh coat of paint on her new kitchen, Mrs. Marjorie saw the walls go up on her new shower! Teen Challenge now has four speakers up and working on their new PA system. With installing the PA system it seemed as if the team was getting stuck and not getting any further along, and all of a sudden everything just started clicking and things started getting done. A team went up to Jeronimo's house to help with some minor repairs on his house, and to add another room onto it. Jeronimo was a local boy we met and fell in love with about ten years ago when he was only 13, and we have seen him grow up into a responsible young man.
Today a gentleman came to the gate of teen challenge and said that he was an addict and he needed help. He had been in the program before, but had not really wanted it. After several of our team members ministered to him he now is in the program, admitted today.
There are three Teen Challenge graduates that are now in Bible college in Jamaica here, and they have told us of the thirty some students at Bible college that only have two computers available for research. The team decided to raise some money and buy each of them a dell laptop. I have never seen anyone more thankful for a gift than these guys. There was not a dry eye in the room after it all was over. It was truly amazing to see their reaction to something so common place to us, but to them it meant the world.
Well folks we had some slight problems with the internet last night and I was unable to blog, but I have it here this morning!

Thank you Kolby for all your efforts in maing it possible for us to follow the team progress. It is the next best thing to being there! We will continue to pray for team health, good weather for work and ministry and of course, safe travel home!!
